The most important thing about any school is “Who are the
teachers?”
Mindi Katsov – dance, tumbling and sports acrobatics
training has been with Marilyn Baumann in addition to
various clinics and workshops given by experts in their
fields.
Her personal accomplishments include:

At the 1996 USSAF Nationals in Palm Spring, CA, Mindi was
voted on by the national judges to receive “Rookie Coach of
the Year” award.
In May 1997 she was voted “Athlete of the Year” by Central
Region coaches. She gave her 1st Acro clinic
August 1997 for Columbia Dance Academy in Columbia, MO.
She graduated summa cum laude December 1997 from the
University of Missouri – Lincoln; having received many
honors both before and after graduation.
In February 1998 the Program Committee of the USSA chose her
and Misty Nowack to train as a Women’s Pair with the
National Team for the 1998 World Championships in Minsk,
Belarus – October 1998.
In 2001 she was awarded “Central Region Coach of the Year,”
which was voted on by the coaches and judges in the central
region. In 2003 she was on the selection committee for the
USAG sports acrobatics National Team. She was also selected
to be the USAG sports acrobatics assistant National Team
Coach for the 2003 Freedom Cup.
In May of 2004 she was selected as part of the USA
delegation to be a coach for the 11-16 Sports Acrobatics
World Age Group Games Team in Leivin, France. In October
2004 she was selected to be a coach for the USA delegation
in the Winti-Cup in Switzerland. In 2005 she was team
manager and judge for the USA and Freedom Cup in Maryland.
In 2006 she coached and judged at International Age Group
Games in Colmbra, Portugal. In October 2006 she was a coach
at the Winti-Cup in Switzerland. In December of 2006 she
was team manager for the USA team at the British Open
Acrobatic and Tumbling Gymnastics Tournament in
Stoke-on-Trent, Great Britain.
In June of 2007 she was voted by Region 4 Coaches and Judges
to be Region 4 Coach of the Year. She is currently serving
as the Central Region Athlete Representative.
In July of 2007 she was awarded the National Junior Olympic
Coach of the Year Award.
